At Akane Academy students with special powers, known as Saviours, are trained to defend against monsters called Metaphysicals, which brutally and indiscriminately attack humans. Saviours, divided into Shirogane (White Iron) and Kuroma (Black Magic), are the reincarnations of talented individuals who possess awakened memories of their past lives. Shirogane manifest weapons and martial techniques while Kuroma manifest magic for defence purposes.
The new student at the academy, http://anidb.net/ch70058 [Haimura Moroha], is unique in that he has awakened memories of two past lives: http://anidb.net/ch72345 [Fraga], a swordmaster and prince of a small country, and http://anidb.net/ch72346 [Shuu Saura], a magician and King of the Netherworld. This gives Moroha the abilities of both a Shirogane and Kuroma. At the academy he meets http://anidb.net/ch70056 [Ranjou Satsuki], a boisterous, very boastful and brash girl who was http://anidb.net/ch75164 [Sarasha], Fraga`s sister, in her past life; and http://anidb.net/ch70057 [Urushibara Shizuno], a calm and level-headed girl, who was Shuu Saura`s queen. With his unique abilities he joins the http://anidb.net/ch76349 [Strikers], Akane Academy`s team of elite Saviours.
Moroha`s plans for a peaceful school life go up in flames when Satsuki and Shizuno begin to vie for his attention and matters only get worse when Metaphysicals start appearing.
