A "duelist" is someone who plays the card game "Duel Monsters". One day, a hapless kid wanders into a card store and buys a pack of "Duel Monsters" cards, after being taunted by some older kids, who told him he`s too young to understand the game. His first pack of cards contains the Legendary Rare Card Red Eyes Black Dragon. The problem is, this card doesn`t bring him victory, it brings him the potential to win.
